Chris has spent a lifetime in showbusiness, as entertainer, producer and author working with numerous performers from Frank Sinatra to Sir Cliff Richard. At nine years old he formed a double act with his father arriving in London's West End in 1980, from where after twelve consecutive productions he moved to BBC Television. There he worked on such classic programmes as Blue Peter and That's Life with Esther Rantzen. 

His first book, In the Limelight, was published in 1993 by Harper Collins. Since then he has authored 27 books, covering various aspects of life in showbusiness. Chris's latest titles include Show Me the Way with Wendy Craig; Little By Little with Syd Little; Rock on Tommy for Cannon  & Ball, Under No Illusion for Paul Daniels, and Dora Bryan’s Tapestry Tales. Chris’s Long Hot Soak was reprinted before it arrived on the shelves and remains a best seller.

As a freelance director Chris has been responsible for a number of unique stage, television and radio productions including the nationwide tours of Rock Around the Church for Cannon and Ball. His recording label Fusion produced several music, audio and video releases and his commercial company That’s Entertainment Productions, specialises in bringing high quality family entertainment back to the stage with six shows currently in production. Chris formed the Charity Christians in Entertainment in 1982, which continues to provide emotional and spiritual support for professionals in the entertainment industry. Today he remains the Director of this organisation.
